Clinical Facilitator – Potchefstroom

About the role

The Clinical Facilitator will oversee the clinical component of training programmes, ensuring that theoretical knowledge is effectively integrated into practice within a clinical setting. This role supports learners, mentors staff and contributes to the continuous improvement of academic and clinical services.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in research and development to generate new knowledge on products, processes and services for the academic market.
• Plan, design and coordinate training and development calendars.
• Facilitate marking of case studies and assignments.
• Maintain accurate clinical records for employees and students.
• Organise and support all academic‑related projects.
• Apply adult‑learning methodologies to guide the clinical learning process.

Required profile

• Relevant nursing qualification (B Cur Degree or equivalent).
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse.
• Compliance with SANC code and applicable health‑care legislation.
• Assessor and Moderator training.
• BLS instructor certification.
• Clinical expertise in your specialty; post‑basic ICU qualification or ICU experience is an advantage.
• Advanced computer literacy.
