Clinical Associate – Telehealth (Remote)

About the role

iScript Health is expanding its telehealth network and seeks qualified Clinical Associates to deliver virtual primary‑care consultations across South Africa. You will work under the supervision of a registered Medical Practitioner, providing patient‑centred care through video calls.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations, taking histories, performing assessments and ordering investigations within HPCSA scope.
• Manage a personal patient panel, ensuring continuity of care and follow‑up.
• Document encounters and generate clinical notes using an AI‑assisted EMR, reducing administrative time.
• Escalate complex cases to the supervising Medical Practitioner as needed.
• Participate in clinical governance activities such as peer review and audit.

Required profile

• BCMP degree from Wits, University of Pretoria or Walter Sisulu University.
• Current HPCSA registration as a Clinical Associate in good standing.
• Completed community service (or exemption confirmed).
• Indemnity insurance or willingness to be covered under company policy.
• Fluent English for documentation and AI transcription.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet private space for video consultations.
