Clinic Manager

About the role

The Clinic Manager will lead the Life Poortview clinic, reporting to the General Manager – Inland South. This role is responsible for delivering strategic and operational objectives across growth, quality, and people, ensuring both internal and external customers receive excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a marketing strategy aligned with the LHC business plan, targeting the local community and monitoring competitor activity.
• Maintain high patient‑care standards and achieve financial targets, including budget, revenue, cost of sales, overheads, EBITDA and working capital.
• Identify operational gaps and risks, applying root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to optimise clinic performance.
• Drive doctor attraction and retention, and support the Medical Advisory Committee.
• Manage quality systems, retain ISO certification, and oversee a standardized complaints management process.
• Provide visible leadership, sponsor initiatives, and lead the clinic MANCO to meet strategic goals.
• Recruit, retain, motivate and develop staff in line with LHC people policies.
• Ensure robust governance, risk management and business ethics throughout the clinic.

Required profile

• Relevant degree (essential).
• Business management qualification (advantageous).
• Proven leadership and general business management experience, including financial management and business planning.
