Client Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Client Support Specialist to manage and grow strategic client relationships within a fast‑paced logistics and operations environment. Based in our Cape Town office, you will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring service excellence and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic client relationships across all levels.
• Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal departments (operations, logistics, finance, etc.).
• Achieve and sustain national service levels of 95% or higher.
• Translate client requirements into clear operational and distribution plans.
• Monitor account performance, produce metric reports, and manage budgets.
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and supplier quotations.
• Ensure data accuracy, stock control, and accurate billing processes.
• Resolve issues promptly while maintaining strong client engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in client relationship management.
• Strong background in logistics, coordination, or operational settings.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel nationally and work outside standard hours when needed.
