Client Relations Consultant – OMB (Fleurhof Mall)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a Client Relations Consultant to deliver a positive customer experience at the Fleurhof Mall location. You will act as the first point of contact, understand client needs, and guide them to the appropriate solutions while upholding the company’s quality and procedural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced product and service information to customers.
• Record and process customer orders, selecting the most suitable approach.
• Handle basic and advanced issues such as returns, exchanges, and complaints, escalating when necessary.
• Make outbound calls or in‑person visits to prospective customers to develop relationships and generate sales opportunities.
• Enter accurate data into the CRM system after each interaction to support retention and business development.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify requirements.
• Support renewals by delivering exceptional service that encourages continued product use.
• Maintain compliance with organisational policies, regulatory codes, and mandatory procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum education: NQF Level 4 – Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of Old Mutual’s products and services.
• Ability to communicate clearly, act proactively, and make decisions with quality.
• Demonstrated accountability, trustworthiness, and interpersonal savvy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Data management capabilities.
