Client Liaison Officer – VSC Smart Supply Chains

About the role

The Client Liaison Officer will be the primary point of contact for customers, drivers and internal teams in Johannesburg. This office‑based position blends customer liaison with logistics coordination to ensure smooth delivery operations across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily route adherence and monitor delivery schedules.
• Liaise with stores each day to confirm receipt and address issues.
• Handle delivery queries from customers promptly.
• Provide on‑site assistance and information to drivers.
• Acknowledge and report vehicle events on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Identify and manage instances of vehicle misuse.
• Collaborate with the planning team to improve planning processes.
