A prominent financial services provider is seeking a Client Liaison Officer – Medical Aid & Employee Benefits to join its dynamic business team in Somerset West, Western Cape. This permanent position offers a market‑related salary structure.

Required profile

• Minimum matric; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• RE5 certification and NQF level 5 qualification.
• Class of Business certification in health and medical aid products as per FSCA.
• Valid CMS certificate.
• At least 5 years experience in financial services/wealth management.
• Minimum 3 years experience with in‑depth knowledge of employee benefits, medical aid products, hospital plans, medical insurance, pension funds, group life plans.
• Experience managing parastatal client accounts (advantageous).
• Proven business development, networking, prospecting and compliance experience.
• Track record of new business acquisition in a target‑driven environment.
• Key account management experience across a variety of clients.
• Strong knowledge of the Western Cape business landscape.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; professional presentation.
• Ability to build multi‑level business relations with stakeholders.
• Independent, tenacious and driven attitude.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken, read, written); Zulu and Xhosa fluency advantageous.
• Fully competent in MS Office with strong report‑writing experience.
• Trustworthy, ethical and accountable.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
