About the role
Cleaner positions (12 posts) within the South African Police Service (SAPS) academies across various locations. Salary is R144,024 per annum (Level 02) under the Human Resource Development division. Positions are available at SAPS Academies in Mankwe, Atteridgeville, Bhisho, Bishop Lavis, Graaff Reinet, Mthatha, Oudtshoorn, Philippi, Tshwane and Ulundi.
Key responsibilities
- Handle cleaning detergents safely and effectively.
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
- Operate elementary cleaning machines and equipment.
- Work extended hours when necessary.
Required profile
- Competent in core cleaning functions.
- Proficient in English and at least one other official South African language.
- South African citizen with proof of citizenship.
- Hold Adult Basic Education and Training Level 4 / Grade 9 / Standard 7 certificate.
Required skills
- Basic literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
- Ability to read and write.
- Professional interaction with officials.
