About the role
We are seeking reliable cleaners to maintain high standards of hygiene across multiple locations. The role involves routine cleaning, waste removal, and basic maintenance tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of hygiene by cleaning assigned premises, both inside and outside.
- Perform routine tasks such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and mopping.
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas, and remove refuse.
- Carry out basic maintenance and safely handle cleaning materials and equipment.
- Load and unload goods as required and assist with additional duties as directed.
Required profile
- Competent in core cleaning functions and able to read and write in English plus another official language.
- South African citizen with valid ID and proof of Adult Basic Education and Training Level 4 / Grade 9.
- Basic literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
- Understanding of cleaning detergents and occupational health and safety protocols.
Required skills
- Operating elementary cleaning machines and equipment.
- Handling cleaning detergents safely.
