About the role
The Claims Handler will manage the full lifecycle of damage, liability and SASRIA claims across a range of insurance policies, ensuring timely registration, validation and settlement. This on‑site position supports the organisation’s goal of efficient claims processing.
Key responsibilities
- Register, assess and settle damage, liability and SASRIA claims.
- Handle claims for Plant All Risk, Contractors All Risk, Machinery Breakdown, Business Interruption and Electronic Equipment policies.
- Validate claim documentation and ensure compliance with policy terms.
- Maintain accurate records and meet required time‑frame targets.
Required profile
- LLB degree with completed articles and admission as an attorney of the High Court.
- Willingness to study for a full FAIS qualification and sit the Regulatory Representatives exam.
- Bilingual communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
