Civil Site Technician / Foreman / Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Technician / Foreman / Supervisor to lead civil construction activities on site in Paarl. The role involves overseeing pipelines, earthworks, road and concrete works, ensuring compliance with specifications and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil construction tasks, including pipelines, earthworks, road and concrete works.
• Coordinate resources, materials and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Assist with surveying, setting‑out and verification of site layouts.
• Ensure work complies with SANS 1200 standards and project specifications.
• Train, mentor and manage junior staff and site workers.
• Maintain site safety standards and report progress to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction supervision or foreman roles.
• Proven ability to manage teams on pipelines, earthworks, roads and concrete works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and SANS 1200 standards.
• Basic civil surveying and setting‑out competence.
• Valid Code EB driver’s licence.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
