About the role
The Limpopo Department of Social Development is seeking a dedicated Child and Youth Care Worker for the Thohoyandou Child and Youth Care Centre (CYCC). This entry‑level position involves providing daily care, support and development for children admitted to the centre.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and orientate children admitted to the centre
- Provide daily care and development activities
- Organise family visits and escort children to external services
- Assist with developmental programmes and administrative tasks
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) plus a basic qualification in Child Care
- Current SACSSP registration as an auxiliary child and youth care worker
