Channel Partner Manager, Sub-Saharan Africa

About the role

LexisNexis Risk Solutions, part of Relx, offers risk solutions such as anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, identity authentication, fraud and credit risk mitigation, and customer data management. This role sits within the Risk Solutions business and drives partner-led growth across Sub-Saharan Africa. It is a hybrid position combining partner management and business development, and for the first time the African partner channel is managed locally, giving the successful candidate significant autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing channel and distribution partners across Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Identify, attract and onboard new strategic partners to expand the partner ecosystem.
• Develop strategies to increase partner engagement, adoption and revenue growth.
• Build and execute a scalable partner channel model across the African market.
• Collaborate with partners to drive solution adoption and business expansion.
• Maintain partner readiness through enablement, training and ongoing relationship management.
• Evaluate new market opportunities and identify regions, industries and organisations with strong partnership potential.
• Act as a trusted advisor to partners, ensuring long-term mutual success and growth.

Required profile

• Experience managing, growing or developing channel, alliance, distribution or partner networks.
• Proven ability to acquire new business while maintaining and expanding existing partner relationships.
• Experience working with distribution partners, reseller networks, alliance programmes or strategic partnerships.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience driving revenue growth through partner ecosystems.
• Self-starter who can build new programmes and work independently.
• Advantageous: experience with organisations that have established partnership or reseller networks, such as financial services, payment providers, technology companies or software vendors.
