Channel Manager: Sales

About the role

The Channel Manager – Sales will lead the growth of revenue and supplier relationships for South Africa’s leading asset rental company. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets, expanding the supplier base, and ensuring strong, lasting customer relationships that drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and supplier appointment quotas.
• Identify, qualify and acquire new suppliers, meeting acquisition goals.
• Manage existing accounts, fostering stakeholder and supplier relationships.
• Develop and present proposals, negotiate reseller agreements, and close deals.
• Monitor market trends, customer drivers and align offerings with company strategy.
• Maintain accurate reporting, quality control and compliance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales and channel management.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to structure tailored solutions.
• Excellent communication skills across organisational levels.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, company policies and reporting procedures.
• Self‑management, project management basics and results‑driven mindset.
