Cessna 208 Captain – Full‑time Charter Pilot

About the role

As a Cessna 208 Captain you will be responsible for leading safe and efficient charter flights. You will work with your First Officer, the Commercial Team, and the Aviation Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and, when required, conduct rigorous flight planning.
• Perform pre‑flight planning, aircraft inspection, and weight and balancing.
• Ensure passenger safety and strict adherence to SACAA regulations and company SOPs.
• Manage ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) responsibilities.

Required profile

• Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating and a valid SACAA Class 1 medical certificate.
• Minimum 750 total flight hours, including at least 100 turbine hours, 100 hours on the Cessna 208 type, and 100 hours as Pilot in Command.
• Valid ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
• Familiarity with aviation terminology, airport and aircraft movements, and safety standards.
• Detailed knowledge of national and international aviation regulations (CAA, ICAO, IATA, FAA, EASA) and legal requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ForeFlight / Garmin Pilot.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using Safety Management Systems software.
• Experience with maintenance tracking systems.
• Computer literate.
