CCTV Operator

About the role

The Security & Surveillance team at RCL Foods is seeking a dedicated CCTV Operator for its Speciality Baking Division in Centurion. Reporting to the Senior Risk Officer, you will monitor the control room, manage camera systems and support investigations to ensure a safe manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV feeds, alarms and report security incidents promptly.
• Maintain and operate control‑room equipment, ensuring routine preventive maintenance.
• Update the incident register daily and provide reports to the Senior Risk Control Officer.
• Identify faulty cameras, log maintenance requests and ensure housekeeping standards in the control room.
• Download, save and assist in analysing CCTV recordings during investigations.
• Control access to restricted areas and verify authorisations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in the security industry and control‑room environments.
• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Registered and accredited Grade A PSIRA licence.
• Ability to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, trustworthy with strong administration and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• CCTV operation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and general computer literacy.
• Report writing capability.
• Handling of control‑room equipment.
