Catering Equipment Technician (Western Cape)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Catering Equipment Technician to join our team in Lanseria, Western Cape. The role involves repairing and maintaining a range of catering equipment to ensure smooth operation across all production departments.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain catering equipment such as ovens, coffee machines and stoves.
• Attend to call‑outs and workshop repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Provide feedback and quotations for work to be performed.
• Research faults using technical manuals and report them to the technical manager.
• Report all defects or conditions that prevent completion of maintenance.
• Ensure equipment for all production departments is available and in good working condition.
• Complete, sign off and process job cards.
• Record spares and report shortages.
• Assist with housekeeping and ensure compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP and ISO regulations.

Required profile

• Matric with N4 or N5 Mechanical qualification.
• 2‑5 years experience in electrical, mechanical, gas and refrigeration repairs.
• Clean record of employment.
