About the role
Dis‑Chem Pharmacies is seeking a casual, part‑time Cashier for its Fourways Mall store in Sandton, Gauteng. The role involves handling customer transactions efficiently, maintaining front‑shop standards, and delivering excellent customer service. This position offers flexible hours for candidates with a Matric qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems accurately and securely, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly.
- Process cash, card, and account transactions while maintaining correct cash floats throughout the shift.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service and assist with front‑shop duties such as stocking and tidying as required.
Required profile
- Grade 12 / Matric completed.
- South African citizenship.
