About the role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is looking for an experienced Cashier to support customer service at the point of sale at its Vaal Mall store. The role ensures a world-class shopping experience by accurately processing transactions and following company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Record customer transactions accurately on the Dis-Chem operating system
- Adhere to customer service policies and build professional relationships with customers
- Process all forms of payment (cash, cards, vouchers) and handle loyalty programmes
Required profile
- Grade 12 / Matric
- A minimum of 6 months' experience in cashier or till operations
- Sound numerical skills and a strong command of English
- Basic customer service skills
- Willing and able to work retail hours
