About the role
The Cash Book Clerk will support the finance function of a motor‑industry client in Pretoria. Working within the admin department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate cash records, handling petty cash and performing daily banking tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain daily cashbook entries for multiple automotive brands.
- Manage petty cash transactions and reconcile balances.
- Perform routine banking duties, including deposits and withdrawals.
- Process debtor and creditor transactions, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
- Guarantee high accuracy and attention to detail in all financial records.
Required profile
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
- Minimum three years of finance experience in the motor industry.
- Matric qualification with tertiary education.
- Strong communication and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
Required skills
- Proficiency in cashbook management.
- Experience with petty‑cash handling and banking procedures.
- Knowledge of debtor and creditor processes.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
