Caregiver – Full-time Support Role in Durban

About the role

We are looking for competent caregivers to support our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidates will be patient, friendly and possess excellent communication skills while following instructions to assist clients with daily activities.

Key responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility, including outings to appointments and walks.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Guide clients through physical therapy exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals, respecting dietary constraints.
• Shop for clients or accompany them when shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping duties the client cannot manage.
• Offer companionship and report any unusual incidents.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Required profile

• Respectful, compassionate and strong ethics.
• Good time‑management and interpersonal skills.
• Physical endurance and ability to handle demanding tasks.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• High school diploma with a Care Giving qualification.

Required skills

• First aid and emergency response knowledge (CPR).
• Housekeeping abilities and meal preparation respecting dietary needs.
