About the role
The Care Worker – Medical will support the nursing unit in delivering safe, high‑quality patient care. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist staff with clinical and administrative tasks to ensure a positive patient experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff in the delivery of quality patient care using a team‑based approach.
- Identify and report risks in accordance with hospital policies.
- Provide administrative support to the nursing unit as required.
- Help maintain accurate stock control and ensure efficient utilisation of supplies.
- Contribute to a learning environment by engaging in continuous personal development.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification as a Care Worker (essential).
- Grade 12 education (desired).
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment (essential).
