Candidate Design Architect (Durban)

About the role

Elphick Proome Architecture is seeking a passionate Candidate Design Architect to join its Durban studio. This full‑time position offers an emerging architect the chance to contribute creatively to a diverse portfolio while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop innovative architectural concepts and design solutions.
• Create and manage project documentation using Autodesk Revit.
• Participate in internal design reviews and critique sessions.
• Balance creativity, functionality, sustainability and design excellence across projects.
• Support project teams in delivering high‑quality architectural outcomes for various sectors.

Required profile

• Master’s or Honours degree in Architecture (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Prior experience within an architectural practice is advantageous.
