About the role

RecruitX is seeking a motivated Candidate Attorney to join its dynamic legal practice in Gauteng. The role offers hands‑on exposure to litigation and general legal work while you complete your articles under the guidance of experienced attorneys.

Key responsibilities

Conduct legal research and draft correspondence, pleadings, notices and court applications.
Assist with litigation matters from inception through finalisation, including trial preparation.
Attend client consultations, liaise with counsel, advocates, sheriffs and other stakeholders.
Participate in court appearances where appropriate and maintain accurate legal files.
Perform general legal and administrative duties as required.

Required profile

LLB degree and eligibility to commence articles.
Valid South African driver’s licence; reliable transport is advantageous.
Strong computer literacy and excellent written and spoken English.
Self‑motivated, reliable, professional, team‑player able to work under pressure.
