Call Centre Agent – Revenue Management

About the role

The Call Centre Agent will provide prompt, accurate service to customers with revenue‑related queries about municipal services. This role supports the Revenue Management Directorate by delivering high‑quality information and administrative assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt service for all customers regarding revenue‑related queries on municipal services.
• Deliver relevant revenue information on various services offered by the municipality.
• Perform administrative functions to maintain a high standard of customer service.
• Process registration requirements for new and existing municipal customers.
• Handle termination processes for existing municipal customers.
• Administer name‑change requests.
• Attend to valuation roll changes and property registration enquiries.
• Contribute to policy changes and initiatives aimed at improving customer service standards.
• Adhere to contact‑centre culture and utilise technology for efficient service delivery.
• Assist consumers in registering or creating profiles on eServices.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Computer literacy.
• Attention to detail, ethics and professionalism, organizational awareness, problem solving, business processes, use of technology, communication, client orientation, resilience, learning orientation.
