Business Systems and Implementation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Systems & Implementation Manager to own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of business system changes within a growing financial services organisation. You will translate business problems into clear system requirements and work with developers and technology providers to deliver effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and coordinate system‑related projects, enhancements, integrations and initiatives.
• Gather functional requirements from stakeholders and map current and future‑state processes.
• Act as the bridge between business users and external developers/technology providers.
• Review and challenge technical solutions for practicality, scalability and fit‑for‑purpose.
• Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks and stakeholder communication.
• Coordinate UAT, testing, defect resolution and obtain business sign‑off.
• Assess operational impact of system changes and support adoption of new functionality.

Required profile

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Business Analysis, IT, Business Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in business systems, analysis, implementation or project management.
• Proven experience working with external software developers or technology providers.
• Strong background in requirements gathering and business process analysis.
• Experience coordinating system implementations and roll‑outs, including UAT.
