Business Manager

About the role

The Business Manager will support the Chief Officer of Vodacom Fintech Group & Group Partnerships, freeing up senior time for strategic initiatives. This role combines strong financial expertise with project‑management capabilities to ensure seamless reporting and operational excellence across the Financial Services division.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the Chief Officer and internal/external stakeholders.
• Oversee all data‑reporting needs for Financial Services, integrating information into Exco and board reports.
• Support on‑time, on‑budget delivery of Financial Services projects and initiatives.
• Lead measurement and improvement models for analytical and operational teams.
• Resolve issues proactively and represent the Chief Officer in meetings as required.
• Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to analyse financial performance, prepare executive summaries, and monitor cost‑saving initiatives.
• Design and maintain automated dashboards displaying key performance indicators.
• Ensure governance standards are adhered to and coordinate monthly reporting cycles.

Required profile

• Strong financial background with proven analytical abilities.
• Solid project‑management knowledge and experience.
• In‑depth understanding of the fintech/telecom industry.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
