Business Development Representative – US Funding (Cape Town)

About the role

Join Fundwell’s fast‑growing sales floor in Cape Town as a Business Development Representative focused on US business funding. You’ll engage directly with US owners, identify genuine financing needs and guide them through a streamlined funding process.

Key responsibilities

• Make 150–200+ high‑volume outbound calls daily to US business owners.
• Handle objections confidently and keep conversations with decision‑makers on track.
• Quickly assess a business’s needs and match the appropriate funding solution.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through rigorous qualification and follow‑up.
• Keep client records and CRM data updated in real time.
• Consistently achieve and exceed daily, weekly and monthly targets.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal communication with a clear, confident, neutral English accent.
• Resilient, driven and competitively minded – you enjoy chasing targets.
• Comfortable with high‑volume outbound calling and speaking to senior decision‑makers.
• Strong organisational habits and disciplined pipeline management.
• Eligible to work in South Africa and able to work US‑aligned hours on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for pipeline and record management.

• Competitive base salary R180,000–R550,000 per year plus uncapped, accelerated commission.
