Business Development Representative – Pipeline (Hartswater)

About the role

The Business Development Representative will drive growth in volume, market share and competitiveness by delivering differentiated service to identified segments. You will work closely with distributors and retail outlets to ensure product availability and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for the assigned area.
• Manage and supervise distributors, handling orders, payments and re‑distribution.
• Ensure IB products are stocked in the full range at customers and retail outlets.
• Maintain merchandising standards, including POS and chillers, in stores.
• Place chillers correctly and ensure they are used exclusively for IBPLC products.
• Monitor recommended pricing at sales outlets.
• Track competitor actions closely.

Required profile

• 3‑year degree qualification.
• Minimum 2 years experience in sales, marketing or FMCG.
• Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence.
• Basic computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office.
• Local area knowledge of the assigned sector.
• Excellent administration and relationship‑management skills.
• Strong customer‑service and negotiation abilities.
• Problem‑solving mindset with high attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and ability to work independently.
