Business Development Representative – Pipeline (Bethlehem)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Business Development Representative to join our SAB Bethlehem Depot team. In this role you will drive sales growth, increase market share and strengthen our competitive position within the assigned segment.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
• Manage and supervise distributors of the assigned sector, including orders, payments and redistribution.
• Ensure AB InBev products are available in reasonable stock (complete range) at customers and retail outlets.
• Maintain merchandising visibility of brands through POS displays and chillers at customer locations.
• Place chillers correctly in performing outlets and ensure they are used exclusively for AB InBev products.
• Monitor recommended pricing of our products at sales outlets.
• Closely monitor competitor actions.

Required profile

• 3‑year degree qualification.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a sales, marketing or FMCG environment.
• Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence.
• Basic computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office.
• Local area knowledge of Bethlehem and surrounding region.
• Excellent administration and relationship‑management skills.
• Strong negotiation, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Professional demeanor and high level of customer service.
