Business Development Representative – Marketing Coordination

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Representative who will also coordinate our marketing activities. Working remotely for a South‑Africa‑based legal‑tech company, you will split your time between outbound prospecting and keeping our marketing engine running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Run cold‑calling campaigns targeting marketing, BD, and operations leaders at law firms.
• Write and send cold‑email sequences, qualify prospects and book meetings for senior executives.
• Build and maintain prospect lists in Apollo.io and Salesforce, ensuring data is clean and up‑to‑date.
• Own the LinkedIn posting schedule: gather content, schedule posts and monitor engagement.
• Draft and produce email newsletters, respond to LinkedIn comments and manage inbound leads.
• Track marketing tasks, follow up with internal teams and support campaign administration and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in an outbound sales, BDR or SDR role, or a strong desire to start a career in this area.
• Confident phone presence and clear written English.
• Excellent organisational skills with a habit of chasing, tracking and closing loops.
• Self‑starter who can work independently across time zones.
• Quick learner comfortable with new tools.
