Business Development Representative

About the role

Sweet Robo, a leading entertainment robotics company, is expanding its B2C revenue stream and seeks a Business Development Representative based in South Africa. The role focuses on converting inbound leads into qualified opportunities and nurturing existing customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals and company channels.
• Qualify prospects through discovery conversations to assess fit, budget, timeline and interest.
• Schedule meetings and hand over qualified opportunities to Account Executives for closing.
• Maintain accurate records of lead activity, communications and qualification notes in the CRM.
• Build and nurture relationships with existing customers, acting as the primary point of contact for ongoing support.
• Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead quality, conversion rates and customer retention.

Required skills

• Base salary of $2,500.
• On‑Target Earnings ranging from $3,500 to $4,000.
