Business Development Manager - Prospecton Depot

About the role

The Business Development Manager for the Prospecton Depot will drive sales of SAB’s Premium brands across on‑premises outlets. You will build strong point‑of‑contact relationships, develop tailored business programs and help grow market share for premium alcohol categories.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong POC relationships, collaborating with SAB Brand Teams and Trade Marketing to address customer pain points.
• Manage customer expectations, ensuring timely service and delivery of solutions.
• Develop and implement customer‑specific business programs and account plans.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities for Premium Brands.
• Educate and train customers on correct in‑store positioning and execution of SAB’s Premium category.
• Assist the Premium Co. Team to drive market share, meet financial targets and growth objectives for SAB Premium Brands in key FOP outlets.
• Provide key customer insights on the Super Premium Alcohol category to align category strategy with consumer needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑year tertiary qualification.
• 3‑5 years sales experience within FMCG, preferably with on‑premises (FOP) exposure.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with solid commercial acumen.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently, including outside normal working hours.
