Business Development Manager – Outdoor Market (South Africa)

About the role

HIKMICRO, a subsidiary of HIKVISION, is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand its outdoor market in South Africa. You will drive growth by building strong relationships with distributors and end‑users in the hunting and farming sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the outdoor market, conducting market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys.
• Identify new business opportunities and growth points.
• Approach and establish long‑term relationships with distributors and end users.
• Present HIKMICRO solutions to potential customers.
• Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other events.
• Collaborate closely with the regional sales team.
• Lobby within industry associations and interest groups.
• Assist consultants in specifying projects and position HIKMICRO as the preferred product.
• Prepare management reports as required.

Required profile

• Experience in the industrial market.
• Proven corporate‑level negotiation skills.
• Open‑mindedness to work in a multicultural environment.
• Self‑driven, ambitious and able to thrive in a winning culture.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Outlook and related Microsoft Office tools.
