Business Development Manager – Isando Depot

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth for SAB's Premium Beer portfolio at the Isando Depot, building strong relationships with customers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong point‑of‑contact relationships, collaborating with Brand Teams and Trade Marketing to ensure high‑level customer service.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure timely fulfillment of their needs.
• Develop and implement customer‑specific business programs and account plans.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities for Premium Beer.
• Educate and train customers on premium category positioning and in‑store execution.
• Support the Premium Commercial Operations team to achieve market‑share, financial targets and growth objectives in key on‑premise outlets.
• Assist in creating comprehensive brand plans for the Premium category.
• Provide insights on the super‑alcohol category to align strategy with customer needs.

Required profile

• Minimum three‑year tertiary qualification.
• Three to five years of sales experience within FMCG.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building.
• Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving and customer‑service abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with solid commercial acumen.
• Extensive knowledge of SAB’s Premium category and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and outside normal working hours.
