About the role
We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to create and grow a customer base within the HORECA sector. Reporting to Sales Management, you will be responsible for opening new accounts across hotels, restaurants, cafés and caterers.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new HORECA accounts through cold calling and lead generation.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, develop proposals and close sales deals.
- Manage and expand existing customer relationships to increase revenue.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts using CRM tools.
Required profile
- Matriculation; a qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business is advantageous.
- 2‑5 years of B2B field sales experience, preferably within HORECA.
- Resilient mindset – treat “no” as “not yet” and persistently build a portfolio from scratch.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle for client visits.
