About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth in the Cape Town region through proactive customer engagement. The role requires familiarity with unified communications and audio‑visual industries.

Key responsibilities

  • Create high‑quality proposals in collaboration with the pre‑sales team.
  • Maintain knowledge of corporate AV market requirements and industry trends.
  • Prospect, generate leads, develop trusted relationships and convert sales to meet revenue and gross‑profit targets.
  • Manage the sales process from signing to commissioning.
  • Prepare pipeline and forecasting reports.

Required profile

  • Working knowledge of audio‑visual, video‑conferencing, IT, networking and computing technologies.
  • Fluent in costing and pricing methodologies.
  • Experience in forecast and pipeline management.
  • Proven ability to close deals and maintain relationships with corporate customers.
