Business Development Executive

About the role

Assist World is seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive to drive growth by connecting U.S. businesses with top international talent. This consultative sales position focuses on building long‑term relationships with founders, CEOs, and practice owners across healthcare and other professional services.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, LinkedIn, networking, and strategic outreach.
• Build and nurture relationships with healthcare practices, business owners, and decision‑makers across multiple industries.
• Identify client challenges and propose tailored remote staffing solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to signed agreement, including discovery meetings, presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline progression, and meet activity and revenue targets.
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure smooth client handovers.
• Stay informed on healthcare, staffing, and remote‑work trends and identify new market opportunities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in business development, sales, or account management.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proven consultative selling and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline and using a CRM.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in a remote environment.
