Business Development Executive – Cape Town

About the role

Indwe Risk Services, one of South Africa’s leading independent insurance brokers, is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join its Cape Town office. You will be responsible for expanding the company’s market share by acquiring profitable new business accounts and strengthening client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial and individual insurance sectors.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and reports.
• Collaborate with underwriting and compliance teams to ensure suitable product placement.

Required profile

• Matric qualification (or equivalent).
• Strong personal attributes: influential, assertive, self‑motivated, resilient and able to work under pressure.
• Customer‑service orientation with high emotional maturity and professionalism.
• Proactive, deadline‑driven and detail‑oriented.
