Business Development Consultant

About the role

The Business Development Consultant will drive new sales opportunities and expand the client base for THE RX Group Of Companies. You will act as a product expert, advising clients on solutions that increase revenue and strengthen relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through presentations and follow‑up to secure agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers and clients, attending PR events, wellness days, and operational meetings.
• Handle client requests via phone, email, and on‑site visits, including account queries, authorisations, and benefit confirmations.
• Plan and execute monthly client visit schedules, ensuring all documentation is prepared.
• Prepare business review reports, monitor industry trends, and coordinate year‑end revisions and mass presentations.
• Manage administrative tasks such as budget requests, travel claims, and commission verification for temporary staff.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years experience in financial services sales.
• Proven ability to develop and close new business opportunities.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with brokers and corporate clients.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules, budgets, and reporting.
