Business Developer – ASTRA (South Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Developer (ASTRA) to join the South Africa Operations of Bosch Group. The role focuses on driving new business for our tracking and telematics solutions across multiple industries in South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, identify and qualify new leads in target sectors such as logistics, transportation, construction, agriculture, mining, rental fleets and security.
• Conduct needs assessments, develop and present tailored tracking solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from proposal to contract.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying upselling opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and provide product feedback to internal teams.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and pipeline updates for management.

Required profile

• Highly motivated, results‑driven with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Deep understanding of the South African market and experience selling to sectors such as agriculture, automotive, transport and industrial.
• Proven ability to manage the complete sales cycle and consistently meet sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
