Business Analyst Specialist

About the role

The Business Analyst Specialist will drive transformation initiatives by defining current and future states, justifying change, and outlining actions needed to achieve business goals. Working within an agile framework, the role collaborates with product designers, architects, testers and data managers to deliver enterprise‑wide solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead iterative planning and monitoring of business analysis activities for large, complex initiatives.
• Guide elicitation, validation and requirements analysis, ensuring solutions align with business needs.
• Oversee requirements life‑cycle management from inception through retirement.
• Mentor other Business Analysts and act as subject‑matter expert on enterprise solutions.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning and collaboration with development and QA teams.

Required profile

• Professional degree (Honours) in a relevant field; IT qualification preferred.
• 7–10 years of business analysis experience, including 1–2 years of managerial responsibility.
• Proven experience managing multiple IT projects and complex enterprise‑wide programs.
• Relevant certifications such as IIBA Business Analysis, SAFe or Agile certifications.
