Broker Consultant – Kimberley

About the role

Sanlam Developing Markets is seeking a Broker Consultant to operate from Kimberley. The role focuses on recruiting and managing a portfolio of brokers and Sanlam Affiliated Intermediaries, driving new business, and supporting market development across the region. You will work closely with senior management to align broker performance with the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Select and recruit a portfolio of brokers and Sanlam Affiliated Intermediaries.
• Develop existing markets and manage risk.
• Generate quality new business and oversee training (administration and sales).
• Set targets and goals for brokers, SAIs and self, and create action and development plans.
• Analyse management reports and maintain business relationships.
• Monitor broker performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Control conservation/pay points and uphold service standards.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; Wealth Management (NQF4120) or INSETA recognised qualification advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence with own transport.
• 2–3 years’ marketing or sales experience, preferably in financial services or long‑term insurance.
• Minimum two years of administration experience is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and planning skills, target‑driven and entrepreneurial mindset.
