Brewing Operator

About the role

The Brewing Operator is responsible for safely running one or more discrete processes within a brewery plant, ensuring consistent product quality while optimizing cost and efficiency. You will work across wort cooling, yeast management, filtration, fermentation, and packaging operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor brew‑house, fermentation, filtration, and packaging lines.
• Perform routine housekeeping and apply 5S principles.
• Identify and correct unsafe work practices.
• Document and draft standard work procedures and quick‑fix routines.
• Carry out quality checks, record results, and use problem‑solving techniques when issues arise.
• Escalate unresolved problems to the Brew‑Area Manager (BAM).
• Participate in shift hand‑overs, meetings, and goal reviews.
• Execute autonomous maintenance tasks and rapid response to process deviations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Food Science, Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related field.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Logical, analytical mindset capable of operating in an unstructured environment.
• Team‑player with strong communication skills.
• Proactive, energetic and driven to achieve continuous improvement.
