Brewing In‑Service Trainee (3 positions)

About the role

Join a leading brewery team and gain hands‑on experience in the full brewing process, from brew house to bright beer tanks. As an In‑Service Trainee you will support daily operations, quality checks and continuous improvement while developing practical skills in a real production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate brewing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor process performance, record deviations and analyse waste trends.
• Perform cleaning, lubrication and inspection of plant equipment following the maintenance schedule.
• Identify defective plant components and report them for resolution.
• Carry out required quality checks and record results in the designated information system.
• Participate actively in shift meetings, log issues and suggest improvements.
• Communicate effectively using operator workstations and team rooms.
• Provide thorough hand‑over to the incoming shift, highlighting plant, quality and maintenance matters.

Required profile

• Third‑year student pursuing a National Diploma in Chemical, Food Science or Mechanical Engineering.
• Understanding of brewing and related chemical processes.
• Motivation to complete experiential training or plant exposure.
• Ability to work safely in a team environment.
• Basic PC literacy.
