Brand Manager: UK/EU, Aggregator & Expansion Markets

About the role

As Brand Manager for the UK/EU, Aggregator & Expansion Markets, you will be the custodian of Mukuru’s brand across strategically critical and culturally rich regions. You’ll translate Mukuru’s global brand into local relevance, shaping how diaspora communities see, trust, and choose Mukuru when supporting loved ones across borders.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve region‑specific brand strategy, acting as the regional brand custodian and leading market‑entry roadmaps for new geographies and segments.
• Translate global positioning into locally relevant, inclusive narratives and craft value propositions across Mukuru’s ecosystem of transfers, card, wallet, insurance, savings and future services.
• Produce deep‑dive market intelligence on diaspora behaviour, remittance sentiment and competitor innovation, identifying underserved clusters and growth opportunities.
• Lead 360° regional campaigns from concept to execution, partnering with Digital, Performance, CRM and Content teams and overseeing testing, brand lift studies and reporting.
• Build trusted relationships with diaspora organisations, cultural groups, influencers and community leaders, and support aggregator partnerships through co‑marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Marketing, Brand, Business or a related field.
• 4+ years of brand management or marketing experience, preferably across multiple markets and with multicultural or diaspora audiences.
• Experience in fintech, payments, financial services or consumer brands is highly advantageous.
