Brand Liaison Specialist

About the role

Nestlé is seeking a Brand Liaison Specialist to support its Consumer Engagement Services (CES) team in South Africa. The role focuses on nutrition‑related queries, managing sensitive medical issues, and protecting brand reputation through effective consumer communication.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 consumer contacts in collaboration with the Nutrition Business Services (NBS) team.
• Support escalation of complex Tier 3 cases following global and local guidelines.
• Analyse quality‑assurance reports and translate consumer feedback into actionable insights.
• Alert internal stakeholders (Marketing, Quality Assurance, Corporate Communications) to potential crises and emerging issues.
• Generate consumer insight reports to inform product renovations and innovations.
• Partner with brand teams to stay updated on launches, product changes, and promotional activities.
• Provide training on product knowledge, brand storytelling and tone of voice for CES operators.
• Assist in developing and implementing local CES strategies aligned with zone‑specific brand objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
• Registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HCPSA) as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.
• 2–3 years of experience in paediatrics or chronic disease management in clinical/public‑health settings, or as a medical delegate.
