Brand Ambassador (Stellenbosch)

About the role

The Brand Ambassador will be the face of a premium South African wine brand in the Western Cape, driving brand awareness, premium growth and sales through strong relationships with hospitality, retail and tourism partners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and host premium wine tastings, brand activations and curated customer experiences.
• Work with distribution partners to achieve and exceed regional sales and volume targets, securing new listings in restaurants, hotels and premium retail outlets.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key hospitality customers, providing wine education and supporting premium wine list development.
• Represent the brand at industry events, festivals and trade shows, developing partnerships with venues and event organisers.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and consumer behaviour, delivering regular commercial insights and reports to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 4–5 years of sales experience, preferably in the wine or beverage industry, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
• Strong hospitality network and excellent relationship‑building skills, able to engage and influence premium on‑trade and retail partners.
• Passionate about premium wine, with deep knowledge of South African wine categories and the ability to tell compelling brand stories.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the Western Cape.
