About the role

Icebolethu Group, South Africa’s second largest funeral assurance provider, is seeking a Branch Supervisor for its Butterworth branch. The role is permanent and focuses on leading the branch’s sales team, maintaining client relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

Retain and grow the branch’s client base.
Supervise daily branch operations and manage risk documentation.
Lead, coach and mentor sales staff to meet individual and team targets.
Set, monitor and report on sales goals and promotional campaigns.
Handle escalated customer queries and resolve complaints effectively.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs.

Required profile

Grade 12 qualification.
2–3 years experience in financial services, preferably life assurance marketing.
Business Management, Marketing or related tertiary qualification (advantageous).
Clear ITC and criminal record.
Own reliable transport and mobile phone.
RE‑5 or RE‑1 qualification is an advantage.

Required skills

Customer relationship management (CRM) proficiency.
