About the role
National Transport and truck rental company is seeking to employ an experienced Branch Operator to join their team.
Key responsibilities
- Liaise with customers and other branches regarding bookings and vehicle availability
- Maintain and arrange services on vehicles, including COF and licensing
- Handle vehicle abuse, recovery, and obtain quotes from panel beaters
- Process insurance claims and related documentation
- Create workshop and branch RA’s, gate passes, and closing details
- Assist with VMR, fuel slips, fuel reconciliations, and fleet pack/month‑end tasks
- Provide customer and workshop liaison, support other branches, and assist contract costing
- Manage keys for drivers, petty cash, and arrange insurance confirmations and claims
- Attend to traffic fines, breakdowns, and after‑hours standby as required
- Schedule drivers, handle invoicing, and perform after‑hours standby duties
